Greetings friends and fans of the TomorrowMen. This week you have not one but two chances to see us. This Thursday we are the musical entertainment for the Thrillville's 11th anniversary show at the Cerrito Speakeasy movie theater in El Cerrito. The age limit is 18 and over and starts at 7:30. We play a short set between the cheezy movies around 9pm. If you haven't been there or The Parkway before, instead of chairs they have couches, and you can order food and beer to enjoy while you watch the movie - lots of fun! It's located at 10070 San Pablo in El Cerrito, about 3 blocks from El Cerrito Bart Station. Learn more at http://www.speakeasytheaters.com

The next night on Friday we'll be playing at Thee Parkside in San Francisco's Potrero Hill area. It's a funky neighborhood dive that just happens to feature some of the best local talent in SF. Headlining is Cliff Greenwood and the Monsters - check them out on myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/mrcliffgreenwood - acoustic country punk, a very cool band. Located at 1600 17th street, here's the directions:
http://www.theeparkside.com/directions.html It's 21 and over, show starts at 9pm.

Hope to see you!

Thanks everyone, esp. Outsides for pointing out the listing, I would have missed that for sure. We go on in between the movies, around 9:30. Right after they give away the door prizes.

Hey gang,
Well, I (finally!) witnessed Danny Snyder’s (other) band, The Tomorrow Men, at Thee Parkside here in San Francisco on Friday night. They tore it up! They played pretty much all high energy material including a Nebulas cover. Their song, Argosy, is a great well-written Surf song that you can find on their MySpace page. It has a tinge of U2 songwriting feel to it. They sport crazy future millennium uniforms and make use of solid trad equipment and even a theramin.

As you may know, Danny is a key component of the commercially successful Meshuggah Beach Party. He fronts but does not soley drive The Tomorrow Men. Several of the members of the band are in their 20s/30s and are enjoying their first bout with Surf. All the power to ‘em and more!

Danny treated me to a copy of their recorded material which is nicely done.
Thanks Danny and nice show!
