should be there, baring any unforseen acts of Nature against me.

when is a good time, to make sure I get a good seat?

Or is it standing room only?

Since it's a Friday night, I'm going to assume they will have a good size crowd. The place is very nice with booths, tables & a bar. It's the bands first gig there of what they hope will be many more. Here are some pics of the inside.. http://www.beachfire.com/photos/

A question for those of you that were kind enough to come to this gig. In light of the fact the band could not play at normal volume & was told repeatedly to turn it down, should they play there again if asked? Is it ok for The Eliminators to just kick back vs kick ass?

I thought the place was OK, but not an Ideal place to see a band.
If there was nothing else going on, I would prob. go.

but the prices there were a tad steep for me.
but I dont have to eat there, I can eat at home and just show up and have 1 beer.
but I feel if a band plays at a place where its free, and they serve food,
I should buy dinner there.

all depends on if the band liked it.
I didnt think that is was that quiet,
def. louder than Baja Cantina gigs.

I have to say, the food & the scenery were great. I think it sapped the bands energy being told to turn down constantly. Noise issues can get places like that shut down & with a retirement home across the street, noise is a valid issue. No such Issue at the Beach Fire in San Clemente except it's really small. Nice place & friendly staff at both spots.
