I've checked into the possibility of moving the event to the following weekend, or any other Saturday in April, and there are conflicts all around. Even May is a problem. One option would be to move it to Sunday, April 20th. But that might prevent some people from coming also. What do ya'll think? Sorry, Surfers, but it looks like the cards are stacked against us on this show. First there was the Atlanta conflict, now I have word that Daikaiju cannot perform. It's the feeling of both myself and the venue that without them as a local draw, attendance would probably not be adequate to support a show of this size. We have therefore decided to cancel this show. Maybe if you flash that great smile of yours at your friendly airline ticket agent, they will refund your money or set up the ticket so that its reusable. I am bummed about this not happening too. I guess I will just save my gas money for another trip. Hey why is this even still up on the calendar? It should be removed so that someone does not see it there and show up at the venue. |

Hopefully anyone that was planning on making the trip could maybe change some things around and come to the Clarkston Surf Fest in Atlanta on May 31. This way you can get your southern surf fix and it's just a couple of hours away! Just a thought. I'm still bummed that this fell through, though. —
