I really appreciate the replies that have been posted. I can play the chords - its getting them in the right order that I have the problem with!

I always liked the idea of being able to record my efforts and listen back to what I sound like. I'm not really computer-orientated and so a piece of equipment called M -Audio Fast Track USB has been recommended to me as being simple and straight forward. It costs about £60 here and comes with software that allows you to record 4 tracks (I think). I guess that you have it in the USA. What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Will I get some fun out out of it? Will it help to improve my playing?

PS We have had snow over Easter in England. I don't think that the sun will ever shine here.
