of those of you who cover 'bulldog', which position on the neck do you play it?
i had learned it starting in the first position. when i saw junior brown a few weeks ago he starts it on the fifth fret, so i learned it there also. just curious.

"It starts... when it begins" -- Ralf Kilauea

Sweeeet. I love that open string version. Nice job Eddie!
I play it on the 5th fret too "Mom Surfing", but I think I like Eddie's version better!
Billy

Be careful following the masses. Sometimes the "M" is silent...........................

The rhythm already has to be played in the 5th position, so using the open strings in the 1st position on the lead adds dimension.

You can get the boy out of the Keynes era, but you can’t get the Keynes era out of the boy.

Why do I feel conspicuous today? ed

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

An insider Eddie Katcher secret: "Yellow Jacket" often comes out sounding exactly like "Bulldog" when Eddie gets in the zone...

5th fret. I like the twang of open strings.
