Haha, in fact, it's all for "show", man!

ah you guys are toooo crazy....
argueing over the best amps. Showman, Bassmans, Brown faces, Black faces, Silver faces.
The worst of the lot mentioned is better than what most player have anyways. So some of you guys are just spoiled. (Or blessed would be a good discription I think maybe.)
Or at the least pretty bored to argue(discuss)such silly things.
Now if someone would only sell me a Showman or Bandmaster for $100.00 in good working order, than we would have something to tallk about.

Owning lots of sweet gear is totally possible unless you have kids or a significant other that spends all of it. You just can't spend any money outside of rent, utilities, or basic food.

Im just wondering why no one has mentioned the crate powerblock. it's 4 AND 8 ohms, all in one. I want a dual powerblack, gonna recover it in blonde to match my groupies.

I've been wanting to post my rig but I didn't want to humiliate all of you publicly...
"THE" all-time greatest Surf amp ever is the Blonde DUAL Gorilla!
Sadly, they're rare and it's even more rare to find one in good condition.
Mine was found in a local pawnshop. Some idiot in the 80's decided they should spray over the original blonde tolex and make it black. At the same time they replaced all the caps with orange drops and added an active effects loop along with an extra "tube stack ®" gain stage. Lastly, the tiltback legs are missing.
I'm in the process of restoring mine to vintage specs and when done it will be a stage-force to be reckoned with!!
