I was just informed that they used two of our tracks for bedding music on the March 10 show. I'm fairly stoked as our CD was released 11 years ago and has been out of print since 1999. Ironically I quit listening to his show a long time ago primarily because he rarely plays instrumentals, of course bedding is not that big of a deal, but it's a thrill for a middle aged guy struggling to stay in the game.

OK I'm done bragging.

Congrats! Has anyone seen a copy of your CD in the wild for sale? I never got one... Sad

Congrats! I wonder how he got a copy. I really dig that CD everytrack is worth hearing. Smile

As for Underground Garage. I listen on occasionally, I stopped listening regularly, I got tired of hearing the Stones, Kinks, Beatles, Dylan, and Ramones every show. I wouldn't consider either of those bands underground. I could listen to any classic rock station to hear that stuff.

Thanks Guys!

Steve,
I share your feelings on The Underground Garage. I find that too much of the music that he plays is neither underground nor garage. I imagine that's the price you have to pay to get syndicated for the mainstream. It is cool when he spins some deep cuts by 60s and 70s artists and I used to hear some great indie stuff when I'd listen.

Hell I'd have never guessed, when I was a kid in the early 80s, that I'd ever hear the Ramones, MC5, the Stooges or the Dolls on mainstream radio period so I suppose that show is pretty cool in that respect. Plus he spun some of my music so I have to give him some love.

BTW,
Were really looking forward to the Cocktail Preachers/Bikini Beachcombers show at the Foundation in May. Wish it was sooner. We'll be swimming in delicious Mai Tais.
