okay, this is sorta a stupid, but I have the reluctant aquanauts cd for, what , over a year, when it came out in any case, and Messina's the dragsters that has the original version for some months. Just never listened to them next to each other, but I knew there was something that bothered me ... okay, so then I was figuring out the chords from memory tonight, and it hit me - checked the cd's and alright, Jim messina after the every first round of chords comes back to a B before going back to Bb- ... while the RA go staright back to Bb- ... anyone else notice this? was that intended, Bill? it's a darn shame Bill! are you being completly anti-trad here Twisted Evil (insert satanic laughter) Wink just kidding, made me wonder though ...

I just wanted - and still want! - just to know whether it was deliberatly done or not. I kinda like that B chord there..

I hardly remember recording that and we discussed it prior to recording. I believe the consensus was that if we were not going to overdub, we weren't going to do it the same way. The song is more or less to feature Alex and not our prowess for "trad".

Hey, we where cardigans even when we don't play, so "trad"
doesn't even factor in to this.
