That's the amazing thing about digital multi-track recording--I can screw up a piece a gazillion times, and have it all work out in the end. I don't think there's a single guitar part in that whole piece that I didn't "do over" at least 20 times! (Well, the bass part was done on a single take, oddly enough.) I doubt very much I'd EVER be able to pull off any of that stuff live! Vince — Is this something you can share with the rest of us, Amazing Larry?!? Top

Oh, and fyi, there is an even LARGER squid, called the colossal squid, which was dredged up on a New Zealand fishing vessel a little over a year ago. Damn creepy things!
