I'm searching for a hardshell case for my Mosrite and I'm thinking seriously for a Coffin Case! But, does anyone own one? Which model fits the Mosrites?
As I know, Ghastly Ones have coffin cases... but does dr. Lehos use it for a Mosrite?
I checked in a local store the 200-B model but it's small. Maybe the 2000 model will fit it. But they don't have it in stock and I must order it. I asked at Coffin case but they don't know Mosrites and which case fits them....
Can anyone help?

When I gave my oldest daughter one of my guitars, I also gave her a coffin case to go with it. At the time, it was one of the first ones produced and didnt have the compartment built in for strins, cables, picks, etc. This lends to the fact that there is too much slack inside the case and the guitar has room to shift inside.
The new ones appear to be of a better design and they should fit a mosrite. I have a generic case for mine and it works quite well.

Spy,
If I remember correctly, I think the Coffin Guitar case itself was not wide enough for the Mosrite. It was wide enough for say, like a Strat or a Tele, but Mo' is a little wider, and I believe it won't quite fit, being that it will be very tight, if it even fits at all. The Bass version might fit, but now you'll be dealing with the infamous "Body Shifting" inside the case when transporting....

Here is a picture of my Ventures Model in my TKL case:
The next time my oldest daughter comes home I will have her bring the guitar with the coffin case (week after next)...if you can hold out that long, bro!

OK, but I believe the WILSON "Ventures" model specs are closer to a Strat although the body of a Wilson "suggest" a reverse Mosrite model. And I think that this particular style TKL case (made for some Fenders, Kramers, ESPs and Ibanez, etc) won't be wide enough for a MOSRITE Style Body......

I've got a new one (genuine coffin case) that I never used I guess because I didn't want anything to happen to it (kinda defeats the purpose of owning it) It was advertised as being accomodating to strats and LP's. It has a string/utility compartment and a removable "pillow" I'll let it go cheap because I bought it cheap. P.M. me for photos or dimenisons if interested.

Nope. I'm a dealer. Wilson Bros. won't fit in a Strat case. They're 13" wide. Wilson Bros. now has a case for their models. It fits the VM 110 and the VM100 but it's too short for a Jazzmaster. I'm not sure of the overall length on the Mosrites but the Wilson Bros. are 40"

Really thanks for the help, guys!
I measured my Mosrite and it's 14" wide and 39" length. It's 1" wider than the Wilson.
Fripperton, does Wilson Bros. sell their cases separetely? They're nice looking cases.
Dutch, which coffin case model do you have?

Hey, thanks!
But, the problem is that I live in Europe! Don't want to pay a fortune in shipping....
And are we sure that they fit the Mosrites?

I can't say for sure that they'll fit the Mosrites. I haven't tried one. They fit the Wilson's like a glove.

I'm also searching for a case for a Mosrite but I think I have an even bigger problem as mine is a Mosrite combo bass. I haven't played many mosrites but I'm guessing this is slightly bigger than your standard mosrite.
Any ideas?

Hey Johnny, welcome to the Community. Yeah, you probably need to go on line and check GTR/BASS Cases. You might start with G&G since they are the latest company supplying Hard Shell Cases for the Japanese Mosrites, and
maybe they might have a case for the Combo. Maybe something that might fit a like a Gibson EB-2 might work...maybe. Every once in a GREAT MOON, somebody sells a Mosrite Case or claims it's a Mosrite Case on E-Bay. But
your situation is gonna be a little more of a challenge. Try G&G cases first, and if they don't have anything in that size, they might be able to recommend someone that does......GOOD LUCK to you on this Johnny.

I'm still searching....
I'm not sure but I think I have sent an e-mail to G&G and they didn't ever answered. Although I'm not 100% per cent sure....

Yea, they haven't responded to me yet either. I wonder if they even talk to us little people?
