I really like the new map you set up its really great! what about adding 2 more, one for venues and another for bands. The reason this would be helpful if you are traveling and want to find surf shows in the area you are going to be visiting. I am going to be in NORCAL in a few weeks and would like to see as many shows as possible. The calendar on SG101 it really great and helpful, but there are a lot o shows that are not on there. If there was a map for bands and you could click on their web page to look for gigs to attend. Bands and visitors could look for surf friendly venues in case there was an open night or a show scheduled.
Thanks

Well......if people aren't adding shows to the calendar I doubt they will add show/venues to the map either.
But having said that I am willing to expand the map somehow to make it easier to find shows, and I'm open to suggestions.

I'm not really commenting on the map idea of Guy, though It would be kinda neat.
But I wish the bands were more active on putting shows on the calender AND
the show announcements area.

I agree it would be great if everything was in the calendar. I guess I was thinking I would put in the bands from Cincinnati and the Venues. I am hesitant to put them in the calendar. In the map they would be relatively permanent where as in the calendar it is one event and lots more maintenance to do.
