I understood btd's comment differently. It's like saying Primus is anti-surf music, in a traditional sense which I would probably agree. Al wouldn't use it for anything else.
what would you call Primus anywise? Sort of a jazz / punk / country / fusion ?

That would be the correct course of action, thanks Serpico for realizing that and posting it.
It may seem nitpicky to bust Serpico's chops for calling Jeff's statement dumbass, but we prefer to err on the side of too careful, rather than having feeling's hurt, and/or more likely just driving members away.
End of subject.

all I can offer is a pretty dumb-ass band pic taken when we were in France in '06:
and our faux "endorsement pic" (it means something like "cornedbeefstein's scaffolding" which is not actually an existing company. I would also really not know what to do with a scaffolding endorsement)
and a really stupid face pic...

( I don't care - I think it's funny - I drove by that truck for 3 years before I remembered to grab my camera. The town is Beaver, UT - the jokes write themselves.)

I grew up in Salt Lake, and I've stopped for gas in Beaver plenty of times on my way south.
In your picture, it looks like you might be hitting up the Slickrock trail?
Moab and south-east Utah has some of the most beautiful scenery in the country.

Yes - that's Slickrock trail - We drive from Denver to Vegas for the big bike show - over the course of 2 days, stopping to ride along the way in Fruita, CO, then we stop in Hurricane, UT, and ride one of the trails there - usually Gooseberry Mesa. On the way back after the bike convention, we hit up Moab for a few days. Awesome trip every year. I agree - great scenery in Utah - the beer kinda sucks, tho..
Mom-Surfing - glad I'm not the only one with goofy sense of humor.

Winamp has "Primus" listed as a genre.

I have Primus as a genre in my iTunes. That's the only reasonable classification for them! Totally behind it.
