Last night I checked the weather channel to see what today might be like. I usually watch late to see the predicted weather because I have Horses and Llamas and a couple of old dogs to watch over. I like to know how to prepare to keep them dry.
Well it said sunny and windy and about 70 degrees.
I look out the window as I write this and low and behold. It's cold ( mid 30's) rainy/snowy ourtside.
Boy did they blow that forcast.

someone on this forum in a personal Blog made mention of talking about weather being kinda silly or something.
I have also heard people say if your talking about the weather, you really dont have anything to talk about.
well that may be true for me.
But I also work Outside, so the weather is very on my mind all the time.

Yeah I didn't have much to say really Jeff.
But, if you work outside the weather is everything.
I do spend a lot of time outside, so the weather is upper most on my mind.
It just seemed truely strange to go to bed thinking about wearing shorts and a t-shirt to work in the next day, and get up to rainy/snow flurrrrrrys.
burrrrr.
Just some small talk, as the shallow end is intended for.
About time now for another cool one.

when you own a surf shop, especially on the outer banks of n.c. the weather is everything. every other call we get is weather related.

Jeff no offence taken.
I know you work out doors also.
So a rain day is good every now and again. huh.

I'll bet your phone rings off the hook sometimes. I know mine did when I lived in Santa Cruz and had an apartment in sight of the beach. They would ask, hey how big's the surf today, before even saying hello.
