This might be a good moment to drop in 3 of my pictures that I took of the NEPTUNES in all their double-neck glory at the TRIBUTE TO PHIL DIRT in October 2005 at the BROOKDALE LODGE
check 'em out

here is some more current stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptHbHj0QzSc
Naming our band the Neptunes was the second biggest mistake behind moving to fresno. Soon after we adopted the name a hip hop duo adopted the name, and became very famous producers (if you are into that sort of thing you will know the names Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo.
THere have been BILLIONS of Neptunes. Cartoons, an 80's band several 60s bands. and a current band from Orange County as well.
Since co-founder Steve Carter left the band, we have changed things up a bit, we have taken a break from the double-necks and added a dedicated bass and sax player.
Personally, I think the band is tighter than ever, and we have added a bunch more original and off-beat cover material.
We have 9 songs in the can and are gonna be done by months end for sure!
Thanks for the shots Freddie!
Tom

WOW!! One of the Bands that I am in, is a Beatle Tribute Band, which goes by the name of "Hello/Goodbye." We've had the name since 2001, and now are facing the same problem since there is some Grunge Band out there with the same name. .....We are now searching for a new name.......
