Thought this is as good a time as any to start running some of my pictures from when THE VENTURES came through NYC last November and entertained us at BB KINGS.

Hey Unsteady Freddie it's Linda from the surfing museum....Just received a call this afternoon from a guy looking for Ventures pictures and or memorabilia and now I see you posted some recent pictures....From what this guy said he is working on a project concerning the Ventures and thought the museum would have what he's looking for but we've never had the pleasure of having the Ventures play for us...Any chance you'd be interested in helping this dude out? If so you could leave me a message at this site...thnaks I look forward to hearing from you....

Thanks Freddie...I will email his info and let you contact him directly...I think he's in my local area in CA...He was very surprised we didn't have anything on them at the museum...That'd be cool if you can help him out and much appreciated....
As for Dick...He went for chemo & radiation this morning and then to work the Dean Markley booth at the NAMM show in Anaheim this weekend...He is doing remarkably well, neither the chemo nor radiation is making him sick or slowing him down...His positive attitude and tremendous energy level are of great inspiration to me...He is so thankful for tons of loving concern from so many wonderful thoughtful people such as you....watch for dragonfly in your email box soon...Linda

Thank you for your comments, both privately, AND publicly!! You are most kind....Thrilled to hear DICK is doing so well, though as I know I him, I ain't surprised!! Tell him for all of us, TWANG ON WITH HIS BAD SELF....
Anyway I will reach out to that gentlemen this week-end.

You're welcome Freddie and thanks for ALL YOU DO TO KEEP SURF MUSIC ALIVE AND WELL ON THE EAST COAST...and I will pass your message onto Dick as well...The way I figure it, like the big game cats he used to take care of Dick has 9 lives and this is only his 6th encounter of fighting back life threatening obstacles...He's got a lot more kicking butt to do before he's done...ttyl Linda
