SuperWave at The Flying Bridge
1105 North Pacific Coast Hwy. in Oceanside CA.
Dinner, drinks and dancing in a classic setting.
Playing from 7 to 11 on friday Jan. 25 and saturday Jan 26.
SuperWave with Rick Johnson, Steve Bidrowski, Tim "Nuclear" Winter, Dan Menendez, and Ben Redman.
Also, starting off the night...The Quartet, our alter-ego, fledgling jazz combo with Ben on the Jazz bass.
This will be a mix of jazz standards and lights-out surf. Kind of experimental but should be fun. This is our "Surfing on Thin Ice Tour".

Hi Jeff,
Does zzzzzzzzzzzz mean:
A. sounds boring?
or
B. you've got to get some sleep?
You don't have to answer that.... either way, I understand.
The place is a restaurant/bar and we have to keep the volume down. Steve is a maestro on the drums and uses brushes most of the night. We're going for sort of a latin, bossa, surf, jazz sound.
I should have included that warning. This gig is not a high energy surf show. I like to call it "Elevator Surf".

Thanks again for coming last night and for bringing out some of the crew. It was really nice of you guys to drive down on such a stormy night. I hope you had fun, enjoyed some tunes, and got home safely.

he great show man,
yeah the Jazz, and Mellow Surf made the storm seem like a nice Tropical mist.
Please post again, when you play there.
