For those of us in the 'antipodes', ABC Ch 2 (free-to-air TV) will be replaying the film (DVD) at 4:25pm Eastern Time on Sunday (tomorrow).
Haven't seen the video myself but just saw it mentioned in the local TV guide... and anything that says 'surf music' makes me go ga-ga these days

Well, I have no idea what the producers were thinking about with this program... Other than 'Bombora' and Dan Rumour's 'Shadder', I didn't hear anything in this show that sounded like what I understand 'Surf' music to be... Pffft.
No tremolo picking, no reverb.. and some post-punk, reggae-based, something-or-other music... all good in their own way but 'Surf' music? No way.
Oh well.

Yes the show was a let down for those expecting what we are used to when we think of surf music. You should look out for a repeat of the show Studio 22
featuring The Atlantics sometimes they repeat them on ABC2 digital. That show was a real treat for surf music fans.

I think they are still stuck in the 'Little Patty' routine of beach blanket bingo type of 'surf' music.
Perhaps it's up to people like us to 'educate' them to what 'Surf Instro" is all about, however as Marty points out, Studio 22 on the ABC has had the Atlantic's on a few times and it was bloody terrific.
So maybe they know but aren't 'enlightened' yet...
