It was really too bad the show wasn't in LA or OC.
Kristena and I were the only 2 from the surf crowd.
I thought a few others might have made the hour trek east, but no dice. It was good to meet them and watch them play. Thought it needed a bit of a bump in sound, like more reverb, and a touch of drive on the main melody's but I recomend anyone in the areas that they might be playing listed in the 1st post above. To go see them. Plus they are selling all the Necro Tone the cd's for dirt cheap.

There were about 10 guys from Psychobilly bands they played with
all signing along with the songs, it was funny, kinda like a Hootennany.

Our show with them in san Diego at the Zombie Lounge was good. I think there sound changes from show to show. They asked to borrow our equipment ahead of time. I must add they made our eqiupment sound really good. I know we are a far cry from the Surf/Instro band, but we share a lot of the influence and put it our sound. So our equipment went well with their sound. As for our performance, we had some rough spots that nite, but the crowd was just going nuts. So all the little flubs and mistakes were hidden by the sheer attitude of the evening. Even our trainwreck ending on a new song was pretty much dismissed as the crowd got more awnry with the eve.

I know Kristena took some photos and we had some friends their with cameras as well. Maybe pull them all together for a photo-album.

It was a good time and I would recommend catching CG live if you haven't already, or get the CD like Big Tiki Dude says.

Hey y'all,
We had an absolute blast playing with The Crimson Ghosts for two shows in the SF Bay Area. They put on a great show, and were REALLY well received by both audiences. Just tonight my best friend said that our show at Thee Parkside in SF was the best show he's ever seen at that venue (and this spans at least 30 shows in the last two years).

I'll have pics of us from both shows on the Lava Rat website soon, and I already gave the fellas one CD of pics from Albany, and will be mailing them SF pics soon as I can.
