The Exotic Guitar of Kahuna Kawentzmann

You can get the boy out of the Keynes era, but you can’t get the Keynes era out of the boy.

Kinda in the lines of a Bruce Brown film or is it? thanks for posting.

Is Blue Surfari available on DVD now?

I remember the Deoras( mike palm of Agent Orange)'s band. was doing a show at the Pitcher House with 2 other bands, and had a copy of it on Film, he got a old projector from a high school and showed the film while they played.
too cool man,

the copy that you see on youtube was made form a 16mm transfer to VHS then to DVD, i had bought it form a friend who sold old movies on the streets of lower east side of new york, that was around 1990 he would go to estate sale and buy old 35mm and 16mm B movie and copy them to VHS and then sell them on the street.the way i got the film was that he was a big supertones fan and he knew i was old school surfer form the 60's and he told me about this cool old surf film that he had with music by the blazers call blue surfari as it turned out it was one of those lost- great old surf films and only a few copy of it are out there.the movie is quite long with a lot of really great music and surfing in it.there is a big surf contest at surf city usa were the blazes play on the pier to a realy big crowd of surfers, it is not live but very cool shot, the music and voice over were added later. i will try and post that clip some time soon there are more clips of the movie on youtube under "the real big wednesday"

That is the old Dominator wreck at the start. One of my earliest memories is standing on the bluff with my dad looking at that. You can still see parts of the ship at low tide.

Very cool clip. Looks like a few shots of Greg Knoll in there.

very cool both videos
