My vote would go to Will Sergeant of Echo & The Bunnymen - he is very into 60's rock n' roll, uses reverb on occasion and has a great ear for melodies. I interviewed him back in the mid-90's, but it was a year or two before I dove into surf music full-on and I didn't think to ask him what he thought of surf music. —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |

They covered Ceclia Ann, full bore and them some. Franck Black also recorded an original surf song on a short CD but fell short of the mark I think. |
