A note from Billy:
I am sorry to have to announce that we lost our bandmate, and friend last night to a heartattack.
Jeff (FIRECYN) Campaigne, age 53, drummer for the Mighty Surf Lords, and my dear friend, was found dead this morning. He didn't suffer, it happened very quickly.
Anybody who had ever met Jeff will miss him.

That's terrible news. Way too young to die.
Hang in there Surf Lords and family.

Billy,
Remember all the good times! I know that you guys have been working on a new CD. Those recordings are that much more important now. As men we are mortal, but our recordings will (hopefully) live on beyond our years. Hopefully the CD will come out soon and it will be a perfect way to remember Jeff!
Keep on surfin!

I'm very sorry to hear this, my deepest condolences. I really feel for you all, it must be devastating on so many levels. I hope you can hang in there, and get back to the music in due time.

Very sad news. Our prayers are with his family and friends. I can't imagine losing a band mate, but being a fulltime, lifetime musician, i guess it will happen sometime......a scary thought.
Aloha Jeff,
