I have to attend NAMM on the 17th and 18th, and would love to catch one of S.Cal's finest while I'm in town. Who's playing 1/18 or what bars would be best to check out, in greater LA to Huntington?

I dont know of anybody playing on Fri the 18th.

but there are 2 shows on Sat. the 19th worth seeing.

1st is Slacktone will be playing at the Fender showcase at Lofflers on Katella
about 4 miles West of the Convention Center, They play that because Dave works for Fender, its with a bunch of other non surf bands that memebers also work at Fender.

2nd is the Deke Dickerson Guitar Geek Fest.
I posted the info in the show announcements area.
its at the Jolly Roger, which is about 100 yards from the Conv. center, and its 4 to 11 pm.
