I can't believe no one yet has listed: The Treble Spankers - either Hasheeda or Araban, both are very reminiscient of later 60s Ventures, and are contain some of the most melodic originals in the genre. It's too bad that it is a small enough genre that you don't see so many used CDs on Amazon (or the shipping drives it up). I am digging The Mel-tones, Supertones, and The Atlantics. Top
