UnsteadyFreddie Joined: Feb 28, 2006 Posts: 2979 Hell\'s Kitchen, NYC	Posted on Jan 08 2008 06:42 AM THE AQUATUDES just performed this past SATURDAY JAN 5th at my SURF-ROCK SHINDIG, and let me say this....for a band that came together only this last summer....folks, you would never have guessed that! They played a smart, well-mixed set (trad + originals) that had a captive audience begging for more. Such a dilemma, oy vey! Seriously, I am planning on checking out the the show in Canton, CT. The Aquatudes rocked the Zen Bar in November. And I love those lil' shellfish in the Crustaceans. As for the locale, Canton is a very rural, yet eclectic and artsy community . I think surf will be very well received. — Aloha, Blue StingRaye Top
NoisyDad Joined: Mar 04, 2006 Posts: 215 West Hartford, CT	Posted on Jan 08 2008 09:24 PM The RBNC mostly showcases regional and national touring artists in a variety of acoustic genres. This will be a first for them and they're rather intrigued by the idea. I happen to work with their sound guy and he was a big help in making this show possible. It's a great nonprofit organization and we're looking forward to bringing some twang and reverb to the woods in Canton, Connecticut.
