Wow, that was kinda like Plastic Bertrand goes to Surf City. At least they looked like they were having fun with it.

I was in Tenerife in 1981 for 4 weeks. We went to several beaches, at least every other day. There was really good surf - but no surfers. I body surfed at Playa de las Americas, and sailborded at Los Christianos. I returned in 1990 and the scene had changed dramatically. I think I would rather not see what it is like today!

I don,t know Tenerife Surf sport scene...
Tenerife usually is only for tourism...
In Spain the Surf scene is in North...
The best surfers are basque surfers..., becouse the see is very heavy here...
MUNDAKA IS the best wave in Europa...
when you will visit Mundaka sure thet you seem like in Pipeline
YESTERDAY WAS 14 MTS WAVE...AND WAS SURFING BY MUNDAKA PEOPLE....
WOUO---this i14 mts wave..is called Playa Gris..
the LongBoards clubs are in the north of Spain too...
In the South..the people normaly play wind surf.
you can will visit in the South of Spain...TARIFA..
is the best site...
think in this...
Mundaka and Tarifa.....Mundaka wild original surf..Tarufa wild win surf..

I read recently that the storm that hit Hawaii's north shore of Maui caused waves at Jaws to be around 100 ft high.
thats just insane.

100' is insanity, but I bet someone somewhere was contemplating whether or not they were ridable.
14m is also insane, I've been out in 5-7m (15-20') surf and was just plain scared shitless.
I'll stick to the fun stuff - anything under 8-10' thanks.
