I got home from work to find the newest issue of Vintage Guitar in my mailbox. Dave Wronski and his guitars are featured this month. I'm not too familiar with the music of Slacktone, but it's a very nice article.

Thats cool,
some say Slacktone is one of if not the Best current surf band.
some would disagree strongly,
I say give them a listen and decide for yourself.
I think they are amazing musicians either way.

It is a great, feature length article that talks about Dave's history with large color shots of the nicest pieces of his collection. His name is on the front cover. I am so happy that Dave is getting the recognition he deserves. Big congratulations!
The article was written by Damian Fanelli of Mister Neutron.

In my opinion, there is nobody better than Slacktone.
Congrats to Dave (and Damian) for getting the well-
deserved press.

Yeah I definitely will seek a copy of this out!
Vintage Guitar also did that piece on Los Straitjackets a while ago.

I haven't seen the magazine yet. Did they run the story on the color, glossy pages? And thanks for the nice words, Ferenc!

Thanks Edie, hope to see you around soon. That was a nice sit-in you did with Los SJ's at the backyard party.

Dave:
No problem! It was fun. Just trying to spread the word. It was weird that Guitar Player has done only a few blurbs about you and the band, but there was never a big story anywhere. It just seemed so needed! Anyway, you deserve it -- it's long overdue. Now please release a third Slacktone studio CD!
Damian
P.S.: Eddie, it was great meeting you at the Purple Orchid in October!

I still haven't gotten my copy! I haven't even seen the story yet. Even the Barnes & Noble stores in New Jersey still have the old issue.
