Funny clip of Brian being "forced" going surfing. Ackroyd and Belushi are pretty boring I think but Brian is great in all his mental bewilderment!

I really enjoyed that. Thanks Klas.

I don't even have to see it...I remember it well. One of TVs golden moments. I thought Akroyd and Belushi were great playing the straight cops. It wouldn't have worked as well with them trying to be funny. Wilson has a good sense of humor too. I saw him do the Pet Sounds tour and he sat staring out at the audience as the Wondermints stood around him and sang the Bare Naked Ladies song Just Like Brian Wilson.

Denny was an avid and accomplished surfer.......ed

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

Poor Brian, on the board backward.

And then, ack-- Mike Love. Ruined my day. Puke

Ha! Mike Love was really terrible wasn't he. I didn't want to say anything as to not stir up the pot, but wow... Part of me died when I saw that. I did laugh quite heartily at Brian on the board backward.

Careful, Mike Love has been known to sue people for less.

You probably shouldn't have used the name Mike Love™ without the trademark symbol.

Hey, I remember that one! Very Happy

Say what you want, but when the X-Rays opened for Mike Love and the Beach Boys at the N'Telos Pavilion in Portsmouth VA some years back. He was super nice to all of us and even spent time hanging out in our dressing room. As a matter fact, all of his crew, from band members to road and stage crew were great. For one short moment in time, we felt like stars. For us, it was THE surf music moment by which all others will be judged....ed

Man Mike Love on stage made David Lee Roth look kinda tame in comparison.

and thats saying alot.
