Hi gang.
Say does anyone out there know the cord progression and lead parts to the song Moon Dawg ?
I have looked for tabs and listened to the song untill I can't think straight, my ears are ringing, and I still can't get it down.
So I am asking for help. Anyone got it?
Thanks

I think the main chords are E, D, and then E. For one of the verses, it goes to A, G, A for a bit. (This could be wrong. All of it.)
-Warren

I just gave the Surfaris (Surfaris Stomp) and Johnny and the Shy guys (on lost legends4) a listen... interesting
for the surfaris it's D/C/D and in the "raised part" it goes up a small 3th to F/Eb/F
for Johnny and the shy guys it is A/G/A going up a 4th to D/C/D ... both the different key and the different modulation giving it a rather different (and less interesting imo) sound

Thanks CaptainSpringfield & WR.
Ok,,,, it looks like I am at least on the right page.
I also had it as A-G-A then up to D-C-D.
So at least I am actually making some progress.
Anyone have any idea where to start on the solo?
What note or is it a double stop that the solo starts with?
Thanks

WR,
The Johnny and the shy guys version sounds like what I'm after.
If you can help I thank you. If not, thanks for trying.
