Hey there folks,
My name is Sergei from the Route 66 Killers. I'm the lead guitarist of the band. I'm looking forward to making you acquaintances and talking to like-minded surf fans.

Welcome to SG101, Serge!
It always amazes me how surf music has spread around the world, and yet, very few people in the USA even like it.
Even though it started here.
It's so confusing.

I'm actually American and have been living here for the last five years as a student in Jena. Surf is fairly popular here and Germany has some really good surf bands.

We'll be in the states in March 2008 - we're looking to cover Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Southern Cal. and maybe New Mexico. We already have some dates set.
Mar 7 2008 Surly Wench Pub, Tucson
Mar 14 2008 Denver Colorado, Denver
Mar 15 2008 The Summit, Durango
Mar 21 2008 Double Down Saloon, Las Vegas
Man, I'm looking forward to coming home and eating Mexican food, till I can't move anymore.

Yeah that is pretty sad.

Is that Hoyerswerda in Sachsen? It's not too far from where I live... two hours or so. Nice!
My girl is also from Sachsen - wo die schönen Mädchen wachsen ![Smile Smile](/media/smiley/images/icon_smile.gif)
