I just got a vintage turntable and receiver, and I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to order surf music from (i.e. records in good condition)?

I've never found a good place online. There are a decent amount of record stores out there still. Not much surf at my local ones, and when there is surf it is really expensive.

P.S.
I did pick up The Ventures Golden Hits locally though, and it sounds pretty good. There's a few small pops here and there, but overall, pretty nice. And the cover reminds me of 7th grade.

I mostly do ebay but I'm definitely not happy with the experience.
Small note: don't buy a Ventures album online, if you do enough snooping you'll eventually find one in a thrift store or flea market. Including good ones like Ventures in Space

I get most of my vinyl from Norton Records. They have a ton of stuff in their catalogue (not listed on site).

Yeah, Norton as well as Crypt are great sources for new in print vinyl. I assume both of them sell more vinyl than CDs.

Maybe not always the best quality but I usually find a 'treasure" at my local antique consignment store. Its medium-large, a former grocery store. No, I don't find something every time but often enought to make a quick look in from time to time. Even if the record is dusty, if the cover is in good condition I'll take it home for more wall art.

I'll second that! Really simple & straightforward. Other than that, pretty much what everyone else mentioned - Crypt & Norton's mailorders, eBay for OOP stuff. I'm also about a mile, mile and a half from the Amoeba Records in Hollywood, which has done wonders for that pesky "I hope I don't have too much in the bank" problem.

Thanks Warren! We're just a small mom & pop and partner operation but we try to give good personal customer service, fair not rip-off prices and good grading. Crypt and Norton are great too, they are friends of ours.
