I have this on CD, and really dig it. (Does anyone say Dig It anymore?). They are a great surf trio.
I think they released a 7 inch fairly recently.
I'm sure others will chime in on this.

I don't think the 1st 45 is live.
I'm pretty sure they are the same version of the songs on Haunting we will go go.
I thought the first album on LP was on Munster records out of Italy, but I guess that was just silly thinking, and hoping, as it would be cool for them to be on Munster records, instead of Telstar.
we used to have that and the Head Shriking fun by the Bomboras on LP at my old work( music importers) and I was stupid and didnt buy them.

It was on vinyl (Zombie A Go Go), but probably now as rare as a "Creature Feature" CD. I know Telstar Records rereleased Halloween Hootenanny and Head Shrinkin' Fun after Zombie Agogo went bust, but I don't recall ever seeing A haunting... on vinyl. I would probably pay $70 for it just 'cause. In any case, I think the tracks on Unearthed are just as good, if not better than A Haunting - especially with the keyboard. Best to "collect 'em all"

HA! I was just telling Ted that I saw a used Creature Feature for $75, but you can get a new one for $139!

Wow, I feel almost guilty now. Creature Feature was the first SP album I ever owned, and I found it used at Amoeba SF for like eight bucks.

"Point Panic" is an old Surfaris song, not a city in CA.

Hmmmm never noticed that, but that means live in the studio, not live
with a audience.
I'm 99% sure that those songs are the same ones that are on the 1st cd.

My friend Lee-Or has had the LP since it was new, maybe he already sold it. He's Shylock here, if you want to ask him. It was on Zombie A Go Go. The 7" wasn't live, that text is probably as true as Garrett's PhD.

Here is Norm's reply to my e-mail;
the versions on the 45 are definitely NOT the versions on the
CD.
The 4 songs on the 45 were recorded live in the studio (no overdubs).
It
was recorded very hastily (in about 4 or 5 hours if I remember
correctly)
at a tiny recording studio in Santa Monica that the Beach Boys
supposedly
recorded at in the 80's. I can't remember the name of the studio,
though.
We weren't too happy with the results. The full album (including those
4
songs) was recorded several months later at FOR THE RECORD in Orange
where
the Tiki Tones, Huntington Cads, Bomboras recorded and it was
engineered and
mixed by Jim Monroe who also did the records I just mentioned. We were
much
happier with the results Jim gave us! Hope that helps.

I have it. Didn't know it was so hard to find. I'm willing to sell it if anyone's desperate.

I also have it! Yea it's pretty rare now....
I find it after a lot of search on net a few years ago.
Wow $60 on ebay is alot of money....
I don't think Ghastly Ones have other copies. As I remember I have asked Norman when I was trying to find it.
It's sad that bands don't release vinyls now. But I underdstand that's it's a little bit expensive. I was hoping that Ghastly Ones will release their last album too.
Anyway, good luck on finding a copy! Maybe SGF will sell it to you!!

They were all on vinyl except for "Plymouth Rock". And no, I don't have boxes of them lying around. I wish.
Are Satan's Pilgrims planning to rerelease their albums on vinyls? PLEAEAEAEAEAEAEAEAEAEAEAEASE?!
