Permalink 2nd and 3rd Wave Documentation

New Topic

Have you noticed that there is little to no documentation of the 2nd and 3rd wave scenes? Theres a little here and there. To us this is obviously important. You tube has some cool stuff but there is not interviews or anything. I think Dionysus and Musick could totally pick this up for a DVD. There is no Jon & the Nightriders on You Tube. Theres a little Bomboras. But most is newer when these bands reunited - Thank god.
But that would be a cool topic. Especially since theres little Phantom Surfers older stuff, No Jon & the.., Huntington Cads, The Finks, The Fathoms (save one video) The 60s stuff was documented way more. I can't say why. Where are the Space Cossacks videos. I did see the Mediera. Its like when the make a new version of say star wars and you know something is missing
Signed, Just Can't let it Die.

Part of the problem is, most people didn't really think there was gonna be such a want for that type of stuff, the 2nd and 3rd waves were more for the fun of it, and not trying to be a huge hit like Pipeline was in the 60's

2nd is I'm sure there is some documentation is out there of 80's and 90's surf shows, etc. but its all on VHS and it will have to be,
a. be found.
b. transfered by somebody who cares to do it.
c. uploaded onto youtube or mastered to somewhat decent quality for a
dvd release, and then , how many people are gonna buy it. 200? if that?

Sorry I'm a pessimist.
