I want to thank all of you for the "Get well wishes" I tell ya last week was one hell of a week for me I have never ever been that sick in my life, it started a week ago, it all started out of the blue Sunday afternoon I woke up feeling good and then boom I felt these dull achy pains all around my tummy area, and boom I my nose started to bleed for 10 minutes I have no idea what the heck and then I had to vomit and blood was present in my vomit I know it sounds sick and graphic, I was hoping this would be a 24 hour deal nop it just dragged on with a fever every single day and at mid week I started to freak out thinking I don't feel right I was so weak in bed most of the time, Thursday rolls around "Marie" suggested now that it's been 3 days and nothing is helping let's see our family physician, oh before I go any further The Verbtones have a show that very Saturday and by Thursday I was like I have to cancel but thank god I didn't and why I didn't is that The Verbtones were interviewed by a major newspaper in Portland/Vancouver about us and the upcoming show on Saturday oh yeah my drummer stepped in to do the interview thank you Steve Lewis in my absence so anyways Friday rolls around and my doc knew right off the bat and tested and it turned out to be an intestinal tract infection that caused my body to freak out and break down so I was givin' antibiotics and by late that evening I was feeling 80% better, Saturday rolls around and by the time we got to the show I was feeling 101% and the show was just amazing the venue was packed from back to front and the outside, we never had a show like that I mean there cool amounts of crowd in past shows but this time what happened? I mean full freakin' house I got as crazy to surf on top of my Bandmaster and jump off and yes I landed on both feet it just gave me such a high to see that many people out and felt in return to give them a killer show so again I'm feeling a 101% and thank you my dear friends of SG101 for the get well wishes you guys are awesome you guys are family to me! it means alot to me it truly does.

So great to hear your back to > 100% man! That sounds like one rough ride. Intestinal problems can be just brutal. Very cool article. Congrats!! That's really good stuff. Any pics from the show? I've got to catch a shot at the 1 1/2 Tuck off the blonde Bandy

No more scary Haloweens for you my friend, you take that crap much too seriously. I was listening to Vampiro Classics today, and felt this strange nose bleed coming on....and now I can't stop listening to it. Great CD guys.
In all seriousness, Kyle, All three of us in Reno were very releived to hear you are ok, nice to hear about the show too!!!
As far as Steve1 sitting in on the interview, I don't think you could have found a better spokesman, nor pal!
Go Commodore!!!
We think you are awesome Kyle, and we look forward to many more shows together!

I'm trying to hunt some folks down that had cameras that night and see if any of them snapped me surfin' on top of my Bandmaster jumping/ leaping off.
Here are 2 videos taken from Marie's Digital Camera
For shits & giggles we played "Wipeout" at the tail end of the set for the crowd

"Surf Party"
This one is funny my trem bar popped off so Tom and I kicked it around for a bit

Kyle,
Glad to hear you're feeling better. Are you guys playing as a 3-piece now?

Glad to hear you're better Kyle. I love happy endings.
Intestinal tract infection... that sounds rough. I've been there myself. I got infected with E Coli a couple years ago. So not fun.
