The Wedge got kind of large today. A few sets to 10'. I taped a nice board snapping wipouts & added Surfaris music to it.

cool. i watched some of the action today on surfline.

we had someone bring a broken board in the other day from our big swell. it snapped in half as he was paddling out. the end result looked just like the one in your vid.

I wonder what would have happend if he didn't catch his rail at the end......? Great video!

Similar result I'm sure. Possibly an attemt at a fly-away kick-out and then over the falls backwards?

DP, I don't know what your talking about. usually when the Wedge getsa big the water is more Brown and has all kinds of weird foam floating all over the place. The green color there is the same as it is everywhere in the south facing beaches of OC that I see all the time.
last 10 years or so.
thats one of the reasons I don't go out anymore.
