This photo ran (big) in the L.A. Times on Sunday.

oh no. expect the prices to skyrocket even higher.

Its a ’65 like my Jag! Dots and binding. A few years back people always said that strats suffered from the CBS takeover, this hardly gets mentioned anymore.

haha. look at all the gear jonny greenwood has used and how quickly it's gone through the roof on the used market.

by the way, i'm trying to convince a certain owner of your former LPB jazzmaster project to sell to me. i should have bought it off you in the first place!

The blue Jazzmaster /w matching headstock or the vintage white Jazzmaster? I have plans to do another build, this one will be based on a '57 Jazzmaster with a black paint job, gold guard, black pickup covers etc..

Thom hasn't used the Jazzmaster live in years. However, I saw a picture of it in the studio when recording the new album.

Gusto, did you see the Raveonettes? They are one of my favorite bands. I downloaded the leak of the new album, fantastic of course.

One of my favs also. The songs on myspace sound awesome, they played about 6 of the new songs, they sounded real good. Put on a wicked show as usual.

Hhhmm I can't recall who it was, who ever it was emailed me via my personal email and saw the for sale add through SG101, I do recall shipping it back east though? Do you know the buyer?

yes i do, from another forum. he's in NY. i pointed it out to him as he had been looking for a jazzmaster. in the hopes that if he ever wanted to move it for something else, i could pick it up off him ;) i don't usually get rid of guitars once i have them.

You mean like a prototype? With a Strat or JM trem?

Yes '57 was the year the protoypte was made but Fender did make the 1st ones in 1957-'58 and they are very very very rare and I know of one guy and he's The Cardigans guitar player "Peter"
and this ones his the real deal 1st year '57
I have only seen two of these in the past in person!

Kyle, good luck on JM build. Man, that is one beautiful guitar. I dig the Gold pick guard on the black body and black pickups.

In the documentary MEETING PEOPLE IS EASY, Yorke plays a Jaguar on some songs. Anyone see the WHO documentary that premiered on VH1 Saturday? There are several references to Keith Moon's love of surf music.
