Hey all of you So. Calers that are goin to the HB pier show tomorrow, or thinking about going.

The Detonators have cancelled, as the Doctor doesn't want Rob out playing in the heat and Sun.

So the Glasgow Tiki Shakers are taking thier place.

The Line up is
The Maruaders,
The Boardwalkers,
The Insect Surfers
Glasgow Tiki Shakers
and the Eliminators.

Hope to see alot of you down there, it's freeeeee

I'm absolutely BLOWN AWAY Shocked that Rob was even considering
playing so soon after the accident!!! What a trooper! Major kudos
to Rob for incredible fortitude. The guy is a major inspiration!

I posted a music review of the event to the front pages, just wating for Brian to submit it.

As for the Bum. he was some freaky long hair( you know you can't trust those damn longhairs). but he was of the Dreadlock, dirty clothes, haven't bathed in a month variety. Nice!!!!
Tim( HB Kahuna) who is a almost retired LBC police guy. Saw him bugging Linda( HB surf museum band booker). He wanted to go up the stairs on the trailor/stage to get up there and sing or dance or something.
She wasn't gonna let him up there, and was giving a pretty good verbal fight for him to scram. But Tim noticed and then he pointed it out to me.
And Also my buddy Jon Paul who was working with the Sound Guy,also noticed the guy buggin her. So all 3 of us went down there to get him away from her/the stage. You could tell this guy was flying hiiiigh.
So anyway after about 5 minutes of sternly telling this dude to go away, or he would be being carried away. He and his also High friend,
walked away, but then came back around the other side of the stage and sat on the grass. As the Boardwakers played some amazingly mind twisting music( to me who was stone cold sober). I saw this guy laying back on the grass just sizzling in his own mind juices. As he listened to them play. I couldn't tell if he was diggin' it or hating life. Anyways Linda had called the cops and they showed up in a SUV. and took him away. They later told her he was drunk, high, and in possesion of drugs( what kind I don't know) But it might be the brown acid you speak so highly of Ferenc- J/k.
Good times!! there always has to be a little bit of Drama at the
HB Pier shows, or Paradise would be just too nice.

I thought were were going fist city with that guy for a
few minutes. All I could think if were the 2 recent surgeries
on my knee. I think seeing Tiki Dude behind me had the guy
pissing his pants, not that anyone would have noticed. The
guy did have a lucid moment & tell me about his favorite website. http://www.bumwine.com/
