Alright here in my area of San Diego. I'm actually back to work today for the first time this week. Things are winding down finally, but so many people were affected.

Things have mellowed in my area. But we are still concerned with wind shifts. We are in between the Camp Pendleton and Fallbrook fires. About 10 miles south of either one. Good news is that the air is a little better today and the containment numbers are better.

Saw a photo of the surf this week on the news (we had a big swell roll through during all of this) and it was taken during the day. The sky was pitch black and the white water looked like pure snow. The water itself was graphite sheen. Looked like a completely different planet.
