It sounds like she is singing over the Dick Dale version for part of it at least.

This is the first time I had ever heard this sung before. Join in on the pointless and heated debate in the YouTube comments. Rolling Eyes I can't believe people even mention the Black Eyed Peas like they added something of value to the song.

Although (being totally biased) I think that many of the surf versions of Misirlou are the best to be found, it's still cool to actually hear the song be sung long it was originally intended to be.

Yeah and one youtube comment's chronology is so off they claim that Dick Dale and Nicholaus Roubanis covered the song after the Black Eyed Peas.

Roubanis, Wise, Leeds, Larry, Moe, & Curly, etc also didn't write the song....they just got publishing rights on it first.
