Jag bridges fit 12s just fine. You have to fiddle with it. What type of 52 tele do you have? Because that shouldn't be the proper saddle for a 52 tele.
Do you know how to check your intonation? I suggest you check it. It may not be off but visually it looks a little off.

Those are from the 'modern' 6 saddle bridge that comes
with the 52RI in case you don't like the
'proper' brass 3 saddle OG tele bridge.
(Im assuming he meant 52RI, unless
he has a real 52 which would be awesome)
They have 1 slot on each saddle.
I agree that the Jags saddles should take 12's just fine.

Should but don't. On the low E anyway.

The low E from a pack of 12 Chromes is too wide for the grooves on my Jaguar. That is what led me to Mustang saddles. It would get hung up and ride right on top of a saddle ridge and would result in horrible buzzy farting noises.

The low e on my roto flats is much thicker than a chromes 12 and i have no problems on the jag. On the Jazz I had problems because the bridge is CIJ garbage and after you set it up everything moves again. I just got a '64 bridge that makes everything on my guitar vintage now and no more wonky e saddle. I could have used lock-tite(sp?) to remedy the problem but was too lazy.

A couple of passes with a triangular jeweler's file will widen the saddle groove just enough for a .052 E string to fit just fine. No popping out, no buzzing.
And Jake is right...the MIJ/CIJ saddles are crap.

Sorry, I got lazy.
Saddles from the case candy of AVRI 52 Tele.
I put 'em in one day out of boredom. But I agree, the Jag's origional low E saddle is good under 12s.
a genuine 52 would be awesome though.

I do and though it looks off, it does intonate. Well, it did the last time I checked.

You're forgetting the '57 Twin you'd have to get to match!
