Permalink Duo Tones All Star Jam

New Topic

This was what I'd call an all star jam. Bands represented were Belairs, Chantays, Deltones, Stacktone, Reventlos, just to name a few.

TDSurf & I shot this. Everything from camera left is his video, Camera right & hand held is mine.

This is a tribute to Daddy Dave "Don't Fear The Reverb" Bruer who died in a traffic accident this past week. The song is Whiter Shade of Pale.

I do believe Duotones +2 Plus Kerry Chester has been declared the ultimate show for Surfin Sundays 2007 due to the amazing talents and musicianship of so many players gathered at one location drawing the largest crowd this year. I made a couple of pertinent phone calls and all these wonderful guys HB mentioned created all you witnessed at that show...Daddy Dave would be very pleased at such a tribute being done for him and I know his spirit was shining down on all of us that day. Dave was laid to rest during a memorial service on the bluff overlooking Moonlight Beach in Encinitas Wed Oct 3 at high noon. Rest in peace brother...Thank you guys for your humble contributions. Worship
