Hello, I'm new to this site. I recently put a deposit on the El Sonido by Dario Gomez who also told me about this site and I want to say thanks already on the great info here. I'm a big fan of Fenders & Gretsch vintage Rockabilly and Twangy Surf tones.
I am new to this scene though and am interested in getting a collection of good Twangy Surf. I really like Setzer/ Rev Horton Heat twang. Anyone got a good place to start on the Surfside?
BTW: I was stationed in Long Beach, CA in the Navy and after Skateboarding and Snowboarding all my life I learned to Surf while living in Long Beach.
All up and down and travelled all over Cali. Now I am a landlocked Pennsylvania boy and dream fondly of the glassy 6am lineups.
Think of me when you are dropping in and I hope to stick around here a while.
Great info already. Thanks ![Very Happy Very Happy](/media/smiley/images/icon_biggrin.gif)

Thanks for the welcome. Alot of pretty guitars on here. BTW: I haven't got the El Sonido yet..... soon I think from Dario.... but as soon as I do I will brag and post reviews.
I am also going to get the reverb tank from you. I am a Gretsch fan and a fender fan from way back.
So, this site hits alot of the same interests which are tone induced. so, thanks so far on great info and a nice place to start.
