Howdy!
Just thought I'd mention The Surfonics (from Eugene) are going to be playing at the Sang-Froid Riding Club's Portland two-stroke ride afterparty at Plan B bar this Saturday, 9/15 at around 5:30 (or as soon I can get changed out of my riding gear)
No cover, CHEAP beer and cocktails and we're going to try to show some motorcycle videos as well. We'll have copies of our CD to sell, as well as some surfing DVDs featuring music from The Surfonics and The Retroactive Gamma Rays (from Lincoln City)
Plan B bar

Hope to see you there! -Mike

Whooo-eee, am I tired! I rode my '77 Yamaha RD400 with my wife on the back from Springfield to my sister-in-law's house outside Vernonia (about 45 miles West of Portland) on Friday, spent the night at my sister-in-law's, got up Saturday and rode the 45 miles to Portland, then about 80-85 miles of wicked mountain twisties with the two-stroke group (about 25 two-stroke bikes this year), then back to Portland to meet up with Trey and Kenny (bass and drums) who had driven up in the van with all the gear, played 2 hour-long sets, changed back into my riding gear and rode back to Vernonia. Got up Sunday and it was threatening rain so we hauled ass back to Springfield doin' 75mph barely staying ahead of the big dark clouds that were approaching from the West. Put a little under 500 miles on my thirty-year old motorcycle without a hitch. Now I'm sore all over, but we had a GREAT time, I wanna do it again next year!
