There is always a big IF and in the concert promotion business there are so many variables and big risk. Weather, competing events, economics, etc. I'm in this business as well and let me tell you every time a show goes great and you make a few bucks or maybe break even it feels glorious! But when I have lost, and I have lost big, it feels pretty terrible and one starts questioning everything. On the other hand I think about people that aren't completely stoked on something (like surf music for us here) and I wonder how they even find motivation to do anything? We all go through the motions and get the boring stuff done so that we might gather and bask in the reverb from time to time. Surf music charges my batteries in a way that nothing else can. I think Jeff must have the same battery type. I think what he may be going through now is the "oh shit" part of the process where you've put it all on the line and aren't sure how it's gonna pan out. I'm with you Jeff and my money is on you! Maybe folks that can't attend (like me this year) should buy tickets anyway just to help the cause! Colorado_Instrumental wrote:
