Does it make coffee? Laughing

Don't even think about it!
Save your money for an AMP! Emmm, a TUBE AMP!

Every word is like an unecessary stain on silence and nothingness.

Sounds like a good price for a Cyber Twin.

reminds me of something I forgot to post at the time. a while back a saw a bluesband, one of the guys was playing an RI '59 bassman, the other guy was playing a cyber twin. both played US strats, btw. anyway, the guy with the cybertwin had way better sound. not just better, really really a lot better (and more tube-ish) sound. maybe because the digital stuff is better in simulating tube sound at ALL volumes? anyway, Im just saying what I heard.

to be honest, I wouldn't want to be caught dead with one, but to each his own, and 650 seems to be cheap. I guess if I played surf as well as in a wedding band, Id buy one in a minute.

I Have Owned Almost Everry Incarnation Of The Fender Twin Amp And The Cybertwin Was The Biggest Piece Of __ I Have Ever Had. I Know It Is Versitile, However It Took Me Literally Close To 30 Minutes To Dial In A Great Tone That Screamed Surf Rock. Besides Basic Operation The Tone Was Cool (good tube emulation) But Without The User Memory Settings It Will Take You Forever To Dial In Your Tone Since Every Time You Turn On The Amp It Sets Itself To The Default Settings.
I Enjoyed The Reliability Of A Tube Amplifier Over The Versitility Of A Modeling Amplifier. hope this helps! right now i play a 94' "evil" twin amp (not the red knob version). 100 watts, Low Power Switch (25 watts), XLR Line Out, Internal Bias Adjustment, Adjustable FX Loop W/ Mix Control, Reverb W/ level and presence controls, and 3 Channels! i love all 77 lbs. of it!

Thank you for the critiques. Now, if anyone would like to buy it......

Embarassed it's yours?

I owned one of these for quite a while and, regretably, had to sell it when I got in a financial bind. This amp probably isn't for all the vintage only dudes, but for someone who plays in a cover band, which a lot of us do, this is such an incredible amp. You can plug any guitar into it and get an incredible variation of tunes. You've got a ton of effects and amp models, and they sound really good! It does take a while to find your favorite settings, tweak them, and put them in the right order, but after you fiddle with it for a while, it's an incredible all-around amp, and this is a great deal on one. I plan to buy one again someday.

(I know I am way late to this thread but...whateva)

Scored a 2004 Cyber Twin for $350 this year and it has been fantastic for me..I think the "biggest piece of crap" critique is a bit much. This amp has a lot of options tons of low end and the tube Pre is works wonders with most of my guitars...

I say most of my guitars because.. as it is a great amp...it will expose some of your pickups for being less than what you thought they were in other amps..This happened to me as I found the guitar with stock pickups with little mojo to them really didnt do too much for tone..

So it may open up the door to you upgrading your axe...its a slippery slope so be careful...

Fender Twin Reverb-Amp ('65 reissue)
2003 MIM Stratocaster/1998 Ibanez RG7620

If anyone's looking for one of these. I have a gorgeous Cyber Twin SE combo for sale. Never been out of my house. Still has the preset chart on top even. Original box, manual, casters, footswitches (never used). Pics available if you'd like to see it. Located in the Philadelphia PA area. I'd take $700 for it an am always interested in interesting trades.

Obviously it weighs a ton. I'll split shipping with anyone interested in the lower 48.

These are really cool amps. I understand that some will never buy into something like this but for those that do, they're wonderful. I have it sitting next to a real Twin and the sound is nearly indistinguishable. It really nails most of the Fender Amps it makes an attempt at. The other models are pretty good too, but I think the Fenders in here are the best.

Operation can be a head scratcher. You really do have to read the manual. But the flexibility is amazing. Being able to choose tone stacks and move them around to different points in the chain is excellent.

PM me here if interested.

Greg
