Hi, im Surf Fan 63, some people from here may know me from some posts I did time ago, most of them were related of gear and Dick Dale, I make this post to make it something like a blog were I'll update my life from here, I just got into university or college idk how it is called, I'm not from the US, I'm from Chile as my flag suggests, I got in the electrical civil engineer carreer and I'm very excited, I have to move cities because well the carrer was there and I didn't have a choice, the point here is that I will finnally understand how my fav gear works (amps, guitars and even pedals) and how to make my own, if things go well I'll graduate in 6 years, here I will tell everything if someone is interested in knowing more abt me, feel free to comment. Thanks for your time.

Good luck on your new journey Surf Fan 63! Looking forward to what you will share regarding your favorite gear!

Thanks Patrick! I'll try to be active as much as possible since the exams can be quite difficult, as I heard.

Good luck on this journey...

I'm 57 Surf Fan, I relocated more than once for opportunity. It's very personal in terms of what "relocation" means. Especially if leaving what you know and love. You may not need what I did lol..but I wish you nothing but good vibes and strength to make the most of your personal sacrifice to better yourself. Love it.

Good luck. I went for electricalnengineering and computer science to design integrated circuits. This was before computer engineering ecisted. Didn't fin8sh, ran out of money. You're roughest class will be something like thermodynamics (mine was electrodymanics). Maybe hydrodynamics - you're a bit unclear as to yiiur major. Electrical and civil angineering are quite different.

However, never say never. I gotva 4 year degree last fall, 40 years after I dropped out. Started graduate school last week. Compketely different than the EE/CS, though why that is is a long unpleasant story.
