I'm putting together another lo-fi twang and fuzz machine. Body by Rosser Guitars. It's a semi-hollow Harmony Stratotone shape/size. Finishing it with red (the best sounding color!) milk paint, tung oil, and tru oil.
The bridge is a WD toploading Tele bridge with a Thorn Brass Knuckle saddle. Pickup will be a TV Jones TV-HT (hi-lo tron). Neck is on order from Best Guitar Parts (24.75 fatback conversion neck) and will be outfitted with Hipshop locking tuners. This is the second Rosser build I've done. Hope to have everything put together by the end of January or so. Maybe even in time for my birthday show. In the meantime, here are some in-progress pics.

Looking good. I look forward to seeing the final product.

Here's a snap of my previous Rosser build:

Rosser AR body (milk paint/tung oil/tru oil finish). Best Guitar Parts fatback 24.75 conversion neck. Hipshot locking tuners. TV Jones T-Armond (bridge) and T-90 (neck). I've been rocking this one for about 7 years now.

Cool looking guitar - it ought to sound great with those pickups.

Let’s get necked!

Nice grain!

They even guessed my weight!

Dry fit. Will trim off that overhanging 22nd fret. No twang up on that end of the neck. The headstock will get painted and oiled to match the body, and the whole neck will get a couple of coats of tung oil. Stay tuna’d!

Tung oil on the neck. Loving the grain pattern on this one.

Nice looking grain on that fretboard!

pickup arrived! TV Jones TV-HT hilotron. the pickguard is being cut by someone with more tools and skills than i possess, so that's the final piece of the project. should be ready to rock, surf, and fuzz soon.

This is very cool. That big lower half pickguard is going to be sweet.

Thanks! Since the body size/shape is based on the Harmony Stratotone H44, I copped the general vibe of the Harmony Stratotone H42 Newport for the pickguard shape for this build. Close enough in this counter-factual guitar universe.
