I realize Surf Guitar 101 is basically a user group for the Surfybear - of which I am one - but am I really the only one who bought the La Grotte?

You can read all about it elsewhere so I'll be brief. The La Grotte is Jack White's collaboration between Third Man and Anasounds. It's not a drip machine but a wet ambient spring reverb in a pedal. It ranges from overwhelmingly huge to subtle. The secret juice is the preamp. It has become my general use, non-drip reverb.

In August after reading about it and watching videos, I pre-ordered one (there was some hemming and hawing because it's not something I typically do). I've been using it since September when it arrived about ten days ahead of the estimated ship date. Mine is #72. I dig it.

I've got one, it does some crazy crazy stuff.

"wet ambient spring" is a great description.
