Hello, dear subscribers of the SG101. I appeal to the administration and all interested people here. Has surf music really become just a means of making money these days? You all understand perfectly well that this is one of the most unpopular genres, on which it is impossible to make a lot of money. But at the same time, this is the genre that can pull you out of the most difficult time of your life, just by touching it. This is the genre that makes the smallest strings of your soul beat in the rhythm of the brightest time in history, instilling in you waves of positivity and good mood. So let's play it just like that? That's what one of the most interesting sections of the site is for - SG101 mp3 compilation. The coolest dudes and chicks, let's support Brian in his difficult work? Let's all post our coolest compositions just like that for people and for the soul in a new compilation of the outgoing 2024? Let's support each other, appreciate each other, share experiences? Not for money, but to support the site's activity and good music? Who's with me?

Read carefully, this is not about the site, it is about music. I am writing about supporting the most interesting section of the site. I'm honestly surprised that last year's compilation had so few people participating compared to previous years.

If you are asking to start the compilation this year, I don't mind running it, but it is a fair amount of work. Who is interested in contributing a song this year? If we can get say 7 folks interested I'll get it set up.

I'll be the first one interested. I can try to record something, although I'm not much of a musician. I'm a listener.

Ok, because I apparently have poor reading skills.
I’ll put my name down to try and contribute this year.
I can’t guarantee an entry. It will depend upon the deadline.
But I’ll make an honest effort.

I'd be happy to contribute a song, but it's going to be a while.

I'm good for a track and can possibly con the Surge! and the X-Rays into contributing something.

It's been 'bout 13 years since I submitted a track. I bought a cheap digital recorder and I have been on a recording bender lately so I'm in!
