Permalink Using Oceans 11 on a Battery Power Supply

New Topic

I just bought a Katana Mini and would like to use my Oceans 11 and Brownfacer pedal without plugging into the wall. Could someone recommend battery operated power supply that will work well?

I am looking at a Mission Engineering 529i, but it looks like they don't last long. Would it be better to get a separate battery bank, and a Cioks 4 output power supply? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My goal was to setup a simple surf oriented pedalboard, with the pedals that I had on hand, that I could use with my battery powered Boss Katana mini and that would be just as portable. My solution came in the discovery of a $10 USD USB cable that can step up the 5 volts of a phone charger powerbank to 9 volts. I had a powerbank on hand so I only needed to buy the pedalboard and USB to 9v converter cable. This solution worked great for me.

The USB powerbank with converter cable is a brilliant solution. Rechargeable and cheap enough you could bring a backup.
