Selling my Blueridge BR-160A in excellent condition. These are known as Martin killers and if you're on the hunt for that classic D28 sound, you can get it here for a third of the price!
Adirondack spruce top, rosewood back and sides and a mahogany neck. This model features all solid woods which give it all the low-end growl and sparkly top-end you could ever want. It sounds exactly like you expect a great dread to sound. Snowflake-style inlays and binding are classy touches, the tortoiseshell guard is just cool, and this one sports the more understated Blueridge logo on the headstock. The spruce on this one is beautiful - really straight grain, no weird mineral streaking or other markings like a lot of the ones I see out there.
I played this against multiple Martins, Taylors and other brands and this is the one that came home. The Adirondack has opened up nicely and has that extra bit of headroom that's helpful if you have a heavy right hand like I do, or you need to really cut through on stage.
Overall in excellent condition. Always humidified and never gigged. I’m mostly an electric player, so this has only seen light playing time.
Includes a hardshell case.
